He's back in the saddle again

Well it has happened. Dillon has decided to give horseback riding another try. He has been riding in front of the saddle with Shane. Shane has been letting Dillon do the "driving". So what do you know.....Dillon decided he could ride all by himself. Of course, I was a nervous, nauseated, almost had a heart-attack---wreck. I'm so proud that he conquered his fears and wanted to try again. Way to go Dillon!!!   ( I think I'm going to need medication for sure :)

  1. Hurray for Dillon!!!

I used to ride, till I got too old and hurt from too many car wrecks!

I know about that holding your breathe and praying as you watch your son thing.....plus, I had around 12 cub scouts that I practically called my own for five years.....that took a couple of my cat lives away!

Hey, Ashley....have any of the little kids made an apperance yet? My Annie is getting bigger and bigger, she is 4 weeks away I think. But it is Miss Myrtle who is just amazing...she may burst she's getting so big. And she is 5 weeks away! Oh this is exciting!!!

Hope you had a great weekend. Did you do any gardening? We worked out in ours all weekend. Just love the weather!

  2. Ok, I'm behind. I am assuming Dillon fell off or was bucked off a horse. Bless you for letting him try again. I about had a heart attack watching my girls fall down while trying to learn how to roller skate. I can't imagine fretting about a fall from a horse.

Remember: Breathe in....Breathe out and repeat frequently! ;-)

HA! The word verification for this reply is criter! Close enough!

  3. Debbie and Lana, I am holding my breathe. I'll try to remember to breathe in and breathe out.
