These things I have spoken to you, that in me you might have peace. In the world you will have tribulations, but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world. John 16:33

Christmas gifts

What a wonderful Christmas we had!! I hope everyone had a wonderful one as well. Here are a few photos....

Dillon finally got the "DS" that he has been asking for. Thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Newman bringing it after Santa dropped it by their house.

Also Mallory asked for a horse for Christmas and she got all of the cowgirl gear to look the part.

Here are pics of our nephew Noah enjoying playing around and watching Prep and Landing with Dillon and Mallory in anticipation for Santa. That is the cutest movie for kids AND grown-ups!

Mallory got a real horse (she made sure we knew that she wanted a "REAL" horse for Christmas). She is absolutely tickled about her horse. She named her Sally right away. Now we have about 4 Sally's around here thanks to Mallory. She really loves that name. The horse is a young paint that hasn't been broken yet, but she is very gentle when it comes to leading her around. Shane actually rode her a little around the yard and she did well he said.

This is as close to the horse as Dillon would get. He has a terrible fear of horses. When he was 2 years old he had a miniature horse run over him and step on his forehead. He hasn't forgotten it yet. Although, I was able to get him closer today and he actually pet her neck for a second. That's progress though.

Christmas Play

Dillon and Mallory were in a Christmas play at our church tonight. Dillon was a shepherd and Mallory was a little lamb. Dillon was so nervous about anyone seeing him up front and Mallory was totally opposite. I just wanted to post pictures for family to see them in their costumes. It was so nice to be able to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas tonight.....Jesus Christ!!

An early white Christmas

It's hard to believe that we actually received snow way down in South Mississippi, but we were glad to get it!! Shane and I woke the kids up and played in the snow for a couple of hours between 11PM and 1AM. It was very exciting for both of them. That was the first time for either of them to see snow, but Dillon started a snowball fight like a pro! Enjoy the photos!
