These things I have spoken to you, that in me you might have peace. In the world you will have tribulations, but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world. John 16:33

A great Easter!

We started our Easter with sunrise service at church at 6:30 AM. It was a very touching program. How wonderful it is to know that Jesus died on the cross and rose on the third day so that my sins be forgiven and have the promise of spending an eternity in heaven....It's also very emotional to know the pain and suffering that Jesus Christ went through so that we all might be saved and yet people still don't accept Him as their Savior.

These are pictures of Dillon and Mallory in their Easter attire

After church we went to Grandma BB's to have a nice Easter lunch with her. She had cooked a delicous meal. As you can see by the photos, it was enjoyed. She even made a homeade pecan pie for dessert. That was Shane's favorite! I enjoyed a big ole' glass of sweet tea the most!

Later in the day, we went to Nana's where she had her camper set up. The kids were so excited to get outdoors in the sun and play. We could hear such excitement coming from behind some bushes nearby and went to find them playing like this...

Thank goodness we had changed clothes and had plenty extra. They had a blast in that nasty mud. We decided why not let them enjoy themselves!

This photo is of my sister with her youngest, Gabriel. He is such a moma's boy! He would not let any of us hold him if his mom was near, so cute...
